Bio / Experience:

Kim Kirby is the City Manager of the City of DeFuniak Springs. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Sciences from the University of Alabama. Kim has been very involved in the community with such organizations as the DeFuniak Springs Area Council, Walton County Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee, DeFuniak Springs Garden Club, DeFuniak Springs Pilot Club, Emerald Coast Branch of the American Public Works Assoication, Executive Board Member of the Florida Chapter of the American Public Works Association, and the Florida City/County Manager’s Association.

Kim’s goal is to plan, organize, and direct DeFuniak’s future by encouraging growth and development that will compliment the City of DeFuniak while maintaining the quality of place the community presently enjoys, providing rewarding careers for the workforce, and being a positive influence to the people in the community.
