Originally from Montgomery, Alabama, Powell Branch has been a resident of northwest Florida since 1982. Growing up on the bays and bayous of Panama City and graduating from Bay County High School, Powell started his entertainment Career at the Marriott Bay Point Resort as he climbed the cooperate ladder. After 7 long years, 6 promotions, and every opportunity to cross train had been exhausted, Powell hit the high seas and became a recreation coordinator with Disney Cruise Line.

After 2 years at sea, working on 2 different ships, and traveling to some 15 different ports of call throughout the Bahamas and the Caribbean, Powell broadened his horizon in Henderson Nevada where he catered to many well known clientele at the Green Valley Ranch Resort Casino and Spa. 3 years of life in sin city, and with hurricane Ivan beating down his families door was reason enough to return home to northwest Florida where he became the Recreation coordinator at Hilton Sandestin. Almost 3 years of education with many great mentors at the Hilton, the urge to travel was too much to resist.

Powell spent close to 2 years traveling the U.S. being a spokesperson for Allstate Insurance at venues such as Sturgis, South Dakota, Daytona Beach, Florida and even New Orleans, Louisiana for the 2006 & 2007 Sugar Bowl and BCS Bowl. Finally having enough of the suitcase lifestyle, Powell now represents Gulf Coast Talent Service, in his home town of Panama City, providing quality entertainment across the south.

As an active member of the community, Powell spends his spare time volunteering with organizations such as the Panama City Women’s Club raising contributions or saving an occasional life by giving blood regularly or even in the Gulf of Mexico plucking tourist out of the water on surf boards.
