Bio / Experience:

Katie Sharon currently works as a Commercial Banker with Coastal Bank and Trust in Crestview, FL. She is an alumnus of Crestview High School. After high school, she attended Florida State University on a full Florida Bright Futures Scholarship. When her fiancée, J.D. Sharon, received a job offer back home in 2004, she transferred to the University of West Florida. While attending school she began her banking career. In May of 2006, she graduated with her Bachelors in Business Administration: Finance from UWF. After graduation, she began an intensive bank management training program with Trustmark National Bank in Jackson, MS. After training, she returned to Crestview to work as a Branch Manager for Trustmark in Destin. While working in Destin, she was active in the Destin Chamber and a member of ECEL. In October of 2007, she accepted a position in Crestview with Vanguard Bank. She joined the board of the North Okaloosa YMCA, is an active member of Crestview Rotary and participates in many Crestview Chamber events. Through the Crestview Chamber, she worked with 7 other dedicated Chamber members to develop and implement PILOT, a young professionals committee that will provide networking opportunities, leadership development and encourage community involvement. She is now married to J.D. and they share a home in Crestview with their dog, Thelma.
