Bio / Experience:

John Frierson is a Commercial Lending Officer/Assistant Vice President for Coastal Bank and Trust an affiliate of Synovus Financial and is based out of the Destin Lending Office. John was named in the top five percent of producers for Synovus Financial in 2006. He began his banking career with AmSouth Bank in 2000 as a Management Associate in Birmingham. John made the move to Vanguard Bank and Destin in 2005 with Elizabeth, his wife. They are expecting their first child in June.

John is an honors graduate of the University of Mississippi. He was a member of the track and field team and set numerous school records in various field events. He was also named to the Academic All-American and All-SEC teams.

John is an active member of the Walton County and Destin Chambers. He has also served as United Way Loaned Executive and has served on various charity fundraisers.
