BIOGRAPHY OF KELVIN C. WELLS
Kelvin C. Wells born and raised in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, graduated from Walton Senior High School, Marion Military Institute, University of Alabama and the University of Mississippi School of Law.
He is a former Assistant State Attorney and practiced law privately in Fort Walton Beach, Florida for nine years. He was appointed as County Judge in Okaloosa County from 2002-2004. He was appointed as Circuit Judge in Walton County in 2004 by Governor Jeb Bush. He ran unopposed in 2006 and currently serves as Administrative Judge for Walton County.
He is licensed in all Florida Courts, Federal Northern District, Middle District, 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Family Court Mediator.
He is a past president of the Okaloosa Walton Bar Association and Okaloosa Walton Legal Aid.
He is a member of the Northwest Florida All Sports Association, Emerald Coast Alabama Alumni Association, Florida Cattleman’s Association and the First United Methodist Church of DeFuniak Springs, Florida .
He is married to his wife, Amy and they have one daughter, Reagan. The family live in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.
