Bio / Experience:

Being a “native” to the Emerald Coast, Jessica Maraman has spent most of her professional life
working with local businesses in the area of marketing, public relations, and online promotions.
Prior to graduating with a B.S.B.A. in Comprehensive Marketing from UWF, Jessica started her
career working in the New York City offices of W Magazine, which is a couture fashion magazine
owned by one of the largest fashion publication companies in the US. There she gained experience
in the publication industry, by working on high-profile promotional events, reader-relation
programs, content research, advertising, and publication design.
From there, Jessica returned to finish her college education, and continued within the publication
industry by working as a New Business Development Executive for the Northwest FL Daily News.
Serving as the primary sales consultant for New Business, Jessica increased sales by 400%, thus
making the Daily News the top Freedom Communications property in the country for new business
sales in 2007. She served an integral role in the development of non-traditional publications such as
glossy magazines, direct mail pieces, online marketing, and targeted news pieces. In 2008, Jessica
and the Daily News were awarded a Silver ADDY® for the publication design of Coastal Bride
Magazine.
After leaving the Daily News, Jessica focused on her strengths in advertising, creative design, and
communications with The Zepponi Group, a real estate sales, marketing, and development
company. Successful promotional efforts inevitably confirmed Jessica’s dream of owning a
marketing and PR firm of her own. At the end of 2008, she founded Vivid | Publicity & Marketing,
which serves as a consultant company for various businesses who wish to promote their services,
products, or developments to the community. Pulling from her creative experience and established
media contacts, Jessica has quickly made herself known as a go-getter and entrepreneur. She is
presently working with multiple businesses along the Gulf Coast.
As an active member of the community, Jessica has spent the last three years on the board for the
Emerald Coast Advertising Federation, and currently serves as both President-elect and Programs
Chair for the Emerald Coast Advertising Federation. She has served on several community event
committees, and is currently working alongside the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation as
their Marketing Committee Chair.
